MORAR
Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 2005
Grape varieties: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella.
Vineyard area: On the hills of Fumane and San Pietro in Cariano, in places denominated Rasso, Monte Tenda and Monte Crosetta. Here the terroir is characterised by a high rock content, therefore suitable for the production of fine red wines.
Yield: 7 tonnes (from 3000 to 5000 vines per ha depending on age and on growing system).
Training system: Guyot, double pergola, single pergola.
Harvest Date: From the end fo September to the beginning of October. The selection method is manual, as only the best part of each bunch is picked.
Vinification: At the beginning of January. Alcoholic fermentation took place in tronconic stainless steel tanks, at the controlled temperature of 14 C°with daily pigeage.
Elevage: In wooden barrels for several months and additional ageing after bottling, before being released to the market.

TASTING NOTE
Intense, red garnet-coloured, with orange hint. Aristocratic and full-bodied. Spicy and complemented by ripe fruit sensations of cherry and plumb. Juicy with vanilla spice sweetness in the middle.
