Millésime Bio is an event in which we participate for the fourth time created organized by Sudvinbio, an inter-professional association of organic winemakers in the Occitania region, in France.
Participation to this event includes organic certification, therefore respect for the environment, for raw material, production and for consumers and their health.
Each exhibitor has exactly the same material to present his wines: a counter, two chairs, a spittoon, tasting glasses, ice and a display. All exhibitors are on the same level to present their products. The stands are not grouped by region or by name but distributed randomly. This characteristic of Millésime Bio is a deliberate desire of the organizers to encourage encounter and curiosity.
We will be present with the new vintages of Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso 2016 and Valpolicella Superiore 2016. We will have the new Iperico, Valpolicella DOC vintage 2018, we are very proud of. Morar Amarone will be presented in the 2010 and 2011 vintages, a real anticipation as, at the moment, the Morar Classico vintage in the cellar is 2009.
For lovers of sweet wines you cannot miss our Recioto Meliloto, vintage 2015, a great wine for blue cheeses or dry buiscits/cakes.
Soon we will take part to Raw Wine Berlin (01/02 December). Raw Wine is a circuit dedicated to natural, organic and biodynamic wines.
For some years we have been participating in these events because we believe that working with low environmental impact and respecting the raw materials of origin is part of our philosophy.
We will participate with our Sin Cero IGT Veronese, a spontaneously fermented wine without added sulphites, 2018 vintage, our Valpolicella DOC 2018 Iperico, a wine very appreciated for its easy drinking style and for its lively fruity notes, Iltabarro Valpolicella Classico Superiore 2016, one of our favorite wines because it is characterized by freshness, complexity but at the same time great versatility. The tasting will then continue with Amarone DOC Bio Morar 2010 and Valpolicella Classico Superiore Arusnatico 2016.

We will be in Malta with “Le Donne del Vino” from 14th to 16th November. Three days of tastings and public relations in a market that is new to us, but is growing very fast.
Thursday 14th at 7.30 pm we will be involved in a walk around tasting in which Maltese restaurateurs, importers and journalists will participate.
In the evening of the 15th our Classic Amarone della Valpolicella Morar 2009 will be served during a Gala Dinner at the Corinthia Palace Hotel. The target of the evening is wine professionals and winelovers.
This small European state is linked to Italy for multiple reasons, both historical and cultural. This is why the island is an interesting market to develop.
Le Donne Del Vino are also technical partners of the event initiatives in the calendar of activities organized by the two most influential associations of the island of Malta, the Maltese Chapter of the Chaine des Rotisseurs, which has over 70 members including chefs, restaurateurs, hotel managers, sommeliers and simple lovers of quality food and wine and Il-Qatra, a men’s club of wine lovers, 70 members who love to meet, challenge each other in blind tastings.
The Women of Wine appointments will close in Gozo, Saturday 16th November, with an In-store Tasting at Vini e Capricci, a Maltese importer.
Also this year we are focusing our promo activities to some fairs dedicated to artisanal wine production, natural wine, organic and biodinamic wine.

Raw Wine is a format invented and founded by the Master of Wine Isabelle Lageron.
RAW WINE is a totally independent wine fair created and organised by Isabelle Legeron MW. It celebrates wines with emotion. Wines that have a humanlike, or living, presence. They are also wines that are an authentic expression of a place. They are the polar opposite of industrialised, big-brand, manufactured, nothing-but-alcoholic-grape-juice wines, that use imagery and suggestion to sell a product…
We have also sent our application to “Mercato dei Vini di Piacenza” organized by FIVI that will take place from the 23rd to the 25th November. The Federazione Italiana Vignaioli Indipendenti has the aim to represent the vine growers in front of the institutions, promoting quality and authenticity of Italian wines. We have been proudly part of FIVI since some years.
We will be at Wine Prague again this year, from May 28th to May 30th.
Three days of fair and promotion of our wines with a desk at the stand of the Valpolicella Consortium.
On stage our award-winning Morar, Amarone Classico della Valpolicella, our Arusnatico, the Ripasso with a unique character and great elegance, Iltabarro our Valpolicella Classico Superiore, Iperico il Valpolicella DOC, the first organic wine of the cellar.
Wine Prague is the most important fair in the Czech Republic for international wines and local wine. Extensive media support is provided to the fair by the magazine WINE & Degustation, partner of the event.
On 18th October 2019 at our winery there will be a truly unique Amarone Morar tasting. Our winemaker and our production manager will select the 5 best vintages of Amarone Morar from 1997 to 2012 …
Places are limited (only 30) and at the end of the tasting we are organizing a gourmet moment with local products and Valentina’s wines.

This year we will present the new vintages of Valpolicella Superiore, Valpolicella DOC and Ripasso and also our Amarone Morar organic, new vintage 2012. The indisputed protagonist is Sin Cero, a spontaneous fermentation wine based on Corvina and Rondinella, without added sulphites, produced with indigenous yeasts and never filtered. Vintage 2018, of great impact, the seventh since we began the production of this wine in 2011.
