For the second time Amarone Morar receives 5 Grappoli the Italian Sommelier Association.
The prestigious award crowns the 2007 vintage of our Amarone and places it among the best wines of Italy, in the opinion of a panel of leading experts.
Red Garnet color with slight orange, it has an intense aroma, vinous, ethereal with notes of dry fruit. Notes of raw cherry under alcohol, and a melange of vanilla and violet.
Balanced flavor, dry, final toasted oak notes recalling with raisins and cherry compote. Pleasant and smooth in the mouth, it is intense and persistent.
After Fermentation the wine is racked off the skins and the gross lees into large oak casks of 30 hectolitre in which it ages for 12 months. After 18 more months in French oak barrique Morar is bottled and undergoes an additional 6 months of ageing in the estate’s cellars.
